I used to be a “a frog under the coconut shell” (very narrow horizon)…
Only when it is my second year in west Malaysia, I noticed a very rare phenomenon in which I had never seen before in my life. Well, this month is Ramadan – the fasting month for Muslim. Reminder: if you want to have comfortable dinner, you had better go earlier because when the Muslim are breaking their fast, the restaurant will be very very crowded.
Okay, now, back to the point. What is the rare phenomenon?
A few day ago, my friends and I were dinning in KFC at 6 o’clock. It was already very crowded at that time. I saw a lot of Muslim pre-ordering their food and just staring at it. They could only have the food at 7.20 p.m.! Oh, Lord! I knew there would be many people after 7 o’clock, so they bought the food first and wait for the time. But, how can they stand the temptation of food?
The pictures below depict ice hockey competition which was held in the ice-skating ground in Sunway Pyramid. Yesterday my friends and I went to Sunway Pyramid to celebrate Jasper birthday party earlier. Caught in heavy traffic jam, we only reached there half and hour later after the AS English trial exam which end at 4.30. Initially, we planned to dine in TGI Friday, however there was quite crowded also and no more room to accommodate 14 of us. Then, we took our time browsing through every single restaurants but to no avail.
Finally, we could have our dinner after 8.30. After dinner, we had a chance to watch a very interesting hockey match. In the first match, the invited Guest showed its breath-taking skill by defeating the Home, scoring 3 v.s. 0.
In the second match, the Home retaliated by sending a ball into the opponent’s net. A cheerful applause rose from the crowd, a few floors above the scene.
Sensing the tension given by the audience, one of the best players of the Guest (C. Wong), performed one-man-show; bypassing three opponents, he drifted, tackled and manoeuvred a ball back into the net of the Home. Now the Guest had even more confident to win the match. Before the second round finished, the Guest managed to send two more balls into the net of the Home, rendering the score 6 v.s. 1.
p.s. the Guest is the team from Hong Kong, while the Home is Malaysian team.
The white colours are the invited Guest meanwhile the orange colours are the Home.
The Guest was defending their goal.
